Flower Water Decals

Some blue flowers for today.

I combined the Born Pretty Store water decals with Pretty Serious Galaxy Invader, a foil polish shifting from blue to purple. I used three coats for opacity and applied the cedals over one coat of Essence Wild White Ways. One coat of KBShimmer Clearly On Top protected the decals.

Nail Crazies Unite: Gold Snowflakes

Gold Snowflakes are this week's challenge theme. Apparently I still felt a little Christmas-y considering my color choice...

My base color is Zoya Payton, a warm red toned purple jelly with silver holo flakie glitter. I used three coats for opacity.

For the snowflakes I uesd Barry M. Gold Foil and B.loves.plates B.05 let it snow. As usual, I adde done coat of KBShimmer Clearly On Top.

Mongu @ Midnight

Mongu @ Midnight is the name of today's polish by Wing Dust Collections.

Mongu @ Midnight is a navy blue shimmer with white, gunmetal and silver holographic hex glitters and blue and silver bar glitters. I used three coats and added one coat of KBShimmer Clearly On Top.

Wing Dust Collection polishes seem to be no longer available.

My Bespoke Psychopath

My Bespoke Psychopath is the name of today's polish and it's by Lyn B. Designs.

My Bespoke Psychopath has a sheer purple jelly base filled with purple, red and silver hexes. Since the base is so sheer, I layered two coats over two coats of OPI Vant To Bite My Neck, a purple creme. One coat of KBShimmer Clearly On Top provided a smooth finish. As usual, my camera "ate" most of the red hues and shows the polish way too blue...

LynBDesigns polishes are available at their own shop.

26 Great Nail Art Ideas: Metallic + one color

A new year is no reason to stop with my nail art challenges, so here's the first for 2018: metallic plus one color. I went a little further and used two metallic polishes with this one.

My base color is Essence Beat The Winter Blues (Step Into Magic Wonderland LE), a periwinkle blue metallic. I bought this one for stamping, but I'm sure it won't work for that purpose. Unlike other metallic polishes, this one is very sheer and barely opaque with three coats. I really like the color, but I'm disappointed with the formula, sadly.

For the stamping I used Barry M. Silver Foil and MoYou London Holy Shapes Collection plate 04. One coat of KBShimmer Clearly On Top finished this mani.

My New Year's Eve Mani

I hope the new years has started good for you. Here's what I wore on my nails for New Year's Eve.

I kept it simple this time and got inspired by a video I've seen on Facebook. I don't remember who made it, but she used regular gold insted of rose gold.

The black base is Essence Black Is Back, the glitter is Essie A Cut Above and the numbers I painted with Essie Penny Talk and a nail art brush. Of course, I added one coat of KBShimmer Clearly On Top.
