Lady Queen Galaxy Nail Foils

Lady Queen Beauty sent me these galaxy nail wraps I want to show you today.

Application of these wraps is really easy. Start with a layer of basecoat. I then added one coat of P2 Eternal, a black creme, for an even base (but that's purely optional). Once your nails are dry, just choose the right size of the wrap, remove it from the packaging, place it on the nails, smooth it down with you fingers, fold the excess over the edge of the nail and file the rest of the wrap off. Add a layer of topcoat (don't forget to wrap the tips), and you're finished!

Sadly, I wasn't 100% happy with the quality of these wraps. They stuck to the sheet, so I tore several of them (I could still use them, since they were too long for my nails, so I had so cut off a bit anyway), and I had quite some wrinkles after application (maybe I'm just too clumsy). When I added the topcoat, the design seemed to fade and the glitter base appeared. so the galaxy design isn't as visible as it was in the packaging (sorry I forgot to take pictures before application).

You can get the galaxy nail wraps here for 2.96$.

Born Pretty Store Water Decals

Today I want to show you these lovely full nail water decals Born Pretty Store sent me for reviewing purposes, thank you so much!

I started with a white base, two coats of Essie Blanc. Application of the decals was quite easy: just remove the transparent protection foil, soak the decals in warm water for 20-30 seconds, remove the white sheet underneath and place them on your wet nails. It's really important to wet your nails with water, if you don't, you'll probably tear the decals. You can move the decals around on your wet nails until you're happy with the placement. Then dab the water off with some tissue and add topcoat. Since the decals are rectangular and my nails aren't, I folded the excess over me free edge and filed it off after the topcoat was dry. The edges on my cuticles I could remove with acetone.

You can get the water decals here for only 0.99$. You'll get one sheet with 20 decals in two different patterns, so you can get two full manis or 20 accent nails out of them.

52 Week Challenge - TV / Free Choice

As you might know, I'm a big fan of the british TV show Doctor Who, so this show was what I chose for the "TV" prompt of the 52 week challenge.

The polish I used is Pahlish Mad Man With A Box, of their Doctor Who themed All Of Time And Space Collection.  Mad Man With A Box has an ink blue jelly base filled with blue and green-ish golden flakies. I used two coats of opacity.

For my accent nail I started with three coats of Essie Find Me An Oasis and added a Tardis Decal by A Study In Polish. One coat of KBShimmer Clearly On Top finished this mani.

Pahlish polishes are available on Bigcartel, at Overall Beauty and at Llarowe.
