Born Pretty Store Stamping Plate BP-L085

Some white and blue for today.

For this mani I used a stamping plate Born Pretty Store offered me, thank you so much!
It's the plate BP-L085, it has the same size as the MoYou London plates and also a white plastic back. It shows 14 full nail motives and 6 smaller ones. I used the one in the middle of the upper row, and as you can see, it worked very well. If you like the motives on it, I can absolutely recommend buying it here for 2.99$. The polishes I used for this mani are Essence Wild White Days and Born Pretty Store stamping polish #7. As usual, I finished with one coat of KBShimmer Clearly On Top.

Born Pretty Store Flower Water Decals

Some flower petals for today.

For this mani, I used some water decals Born Pretty Store offered me, thank you so much! There are two designs on the sheet with ten decals each, so you get two full manis out of it. If you like these decals, you can get them here for only 99ct.

Application of the decals was quite easy: just remove the transparent protection foil, soak the decals in warm water for 20-30 seconds, remove the white sheet underneath and place them on your wet nails. It's really important to wet your nails with water, if you don't, you'll probably tear the decals. You can move the decals around on your wet nails until you're happy with the placement. Then dab the water off with some tissue and add topcoat. The topcoat makes the decals really fragile, so I accidentaly tore the decals witch the application, so better be careful. I recommend applying a white base (I used one coat of essence Wild White Days) under the decals, the white part you see on the sheet is transparent, so you'll need the white base to let the white parts of the pattern stay white.

On the other nails, I applied three coats of Picture Polish Sisters, a dusky purple polish with holo glitter flakies in it.

Nail Crazies Unite: Winter Animals

Winter animals is this week's challenge theme. Hmm... There are no butterflies in winter, and not many other insects. Some birds fly south. But animals that represent winter especially? I don't know. But I do know that there are foxes and squirrels in the woods all year round, so that's what I went for.

For the background I used MoYou London Chill Out, Essence Wild White Ways and Bundle Monster stamping plate BM-S187. The animals I stamped using MoYou London It's A Date and Landscape Collection plate 03. One coat of KBShimmer Clearly On Top finished this mani.

Born Pretty Store Stamping Polish Pink Planet

It has been raining the whole night here in Switzerland, so here are at least some snowflakes on my nails.

My base color is two coats of Cult Nails Ms. Conduct, a dark chocolate brown creme. For the stamping I used Born Pretty Store stamping plates BP-185 and BP-01 and a stamping polish Born Pretty Store offered me for reviewing purposes, thank you so much! It's called Pink Planet and is a lovely metallic duochrome shifting form a regular yellow-ish gold to a lovely pink rose gold. As you can see, it worked flawlessly over the dark base. I immediately fell in love with this polish, and if you like it as much as I do, you can get it here for 4.99$.

26 Great Nail Art Ideas: Embellished / 3D

Embellished or 3D ist this week's challenge theme.

While I really admire some 3D manis (do you know piggiluv.com ? She's a real goddess, not only with 3D manis but also with free hand paintings. Her nails are art.), I don't think I could do something that would be recognizable as, well whatever... So I chose the easier version, embellishments.

My base polish is Pahlish Dark Chocolate Cherries, a dark red jelly with flakie shimmer. I used two coats for opacity.

For the stamping I used Barry M. Gold Foil and MoYou London Holy Shapes Collection plate 15. The square studs are from Born Pretty Store. Of course, I added one coat of KBShimmer Clearly On Top.

Dark Chocolate Cherries is no longer produced, but other Pahlish polishes are available on Bigcartel and at Overall Beauty.

My Oblivion

Pahlish's My Oblivion is today's polish.

My Oblivion has a sheer teal jelly base (a little less blue than my pictures show) filled with gold holographic hex and bar glitters. I used three coats and as you can see, my nail line is still clearly visible. One generous coat of KBShimmer Clearly On Top provided a smooth finish.

My Oblivion is no longer produced, but other Pahlish polishes are available on Bigcartel and at Overall Beauty.

Flower Water Decals

Some blue flowers for today.

I combined the Born Pretty Store water decals with Pretty Serious Galaxy Invader, a foil polish shifting from blue to purple. I used three coats for opacity and applied the cedals over one coat of Essence Wild White Ways. One coat of KBShimmer Clearly On Top protected the decals.
